 Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell's Indian-origin wife Wini Raman expressed her excitement after her husband's brilliant double century against Afghanistan in the 39th match of the ICC Men's World Cup 2023.

    As the star all-rounder of the Australian cricket team, Maxwell performed brilliantly by scoring a double century in the recent match against Afghanistan.  Veni Raman took to her Instagram to celebrate her husband's success, dedicating her story to him.

    For those unfamiliar with the background, Glenn Maxwell married Vinny Raman, an Indian-origin pharmacist based in Australia, in March 2022.  The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Logan, in September of that year.

    Maxwell's incredible innings of 201 runs in the 39th World Cup match was instrumental in Australia's three-wicket victory over a spirited Afghanistan side, securing their place in the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023.  had taken

    Facing a target of 292, Australia faced a difficult situation as Afghanistan's bowlers destroyed their top and middle order and collapsed to 7/91 in the 19th over.  However, a sensational performance from Glenn Maxwell, aided by a few missed chances by the Afghanistan fielders, saw Australia pull off a stunning comeback with 19 balls to spare.

    With an unbeaten 201 off 128 balls, Maxwell achieved the second-fastest double century in one-day internationals (ODIs).
